Magenta To Install Electric Vehicle Charging Stations At Fern Hotels & Resorts Properties

- Magenta will install, operate and manage DC fast chargers
- 3 of the company's hotels have already installed the EV charging stations
- The collaboration will help boost EV charging infrastructure across India
The Fern Hotels & Resorts has partnered with Magenta to install electric vehicle charging stations across all its properties in India. As a part of the partnership, Magenta will install, operate and manage DC fast chargers at over 84 Fern Hotels & resorts across 69 locations in the country. In fact, the EV charging facilities have been installed at three of the company's hotels in Lonavala, Karad and Bengaluru. This collaboration will help boost EV charging infrastructure across India and establish an ecological footprint by hotels.
Speaking on the tie-up, Suhail Kannampilly, CEO, The Fern Hotels & Resort said, "Offering EV charging facility to our customers fits well with the Fern's commitment to promote environment-friendly options at the facilities for various customer segments. We are proud to partner with Magenta to install, operate and maintain DC fast chargers at all the Fern properties. By providing EV charging solutions, The Fern will be future-ready and will be able to attract multiple EV vehicle users at their properties."

Three of the company's hotels in Lonavala, Karad and Bengaluru have already installed the EV Charging stations.

These charging solutions are mobile application enabled (OCCP based) and can be located by EV users using the ChargeGrid application. ChargeGrid app provides a seamless experience from finding a charger to completing a charging session with online payment.
