In fact, up until now, the Mahindra XUV500 was the only SUV in this segment to not get Apple CarPlay, also it's only the third SUV in the company's line-up to get this feature, after the Mahindra XUV300 and Marazzo. Based on AWD, automatic transmission, and optional features, the W11 variant alone comes in five iterations. While Mahindra hasn't announced any revision in pricing, as per the company's website, the W11 trim is priced from Rs. 17.6 lakh to Rs. 18.52 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The CarPlay automatically pulls all the necessary information from the user's iPhone and organises it into a simple UI that appears just when required on the infotainment system. Users also have access to Apple iPhone's speech recognition programme, Siri. So, with the integrated steering controls and voice-activated functions, there is a minimal distraction and the driver can stay focused on the road.
