Marine Turbine Technologies Unveils A 414 bhp Superbike

- The MTT 420 RR will have a limited run of production
- It will make a total of 414 bhp and 678 Nm of torque
- It can reach a top speed of 365 kmph
A power output of 414 bhp is usually the preserve of sportscars and premium SUVs. 414 bhp means a whole lot of power in a passenger vehicle. But what if we told you, Marine Turbine Technologies MTT) a mad company, which believes in making even madder bikes, recently unveiled a superbike which will have a peak power output of 414 bhp! It has been christened as the MTT 420 RR (420 standing for the power output in PS) and is now available to order. The company will make a limited number of these motorcycles and they will be rather exclusive.
(MTT 420 RR- engine)The MTT 420 RR is the most powerful motorcycle in production. And we say that because the technical specifications of the bike are not something of a regular bike, but look more like it belonged to a spacecraft or some such things. The bike gets a Rolls Royce Allison - 250-C20 Series Gas Turbine engine which makes a whopping 414 bhp at 52,000 rpm. NO! It's not a typo. The peak power kicks in at 52,000 rpm. The engine makes a massive 678 Nm of peak torque and it comes in at a very low engine speed of 2,000 rpm. Absolutely crazy! Imagine the kick of torque, this bike would churn out. The craziness doesn't end here! The transmission unit is a 2-speed automatic gearbox and the bike is built on an aluminium alloy frame.
(MTT 420 RR)The fairing of the motorcycle is made of pure carbon fibre and the overall weight of the MTT 420 RR is a mere 227 kg. The top-speed of the bike is a whopping 365 kmph and the motorcycle can run on either diesel or kerosene. Now this is perhaps the maddest motorcycle on the planet and while the prices haven't been announced yet, you could be rest assured that it will be one of the most expensive motorcycles ever as well.
