- Mick Schumacher drove the Jordan 191 for a Sky Sports special
- The Jordan 191 was the first F1 car his father Michael Schumacher drove
- It is worth $2.32 million and was driven even last year at Donnington
Mick Schumacher is having a pretty good time in his first F1 season. In most races, he's proven to be significantly faster than his teammate. He has mostly made friends on the grid though had some run-ins with his teammate Nikita Mazepin. The Ferrari backed driver is also the defending F2 world champion, and this time around he got the opportunity to drive his father's first F1 car the Jordan 191. Michael Schumacher, the 7-time world champion made his Formula 1 debut in the car 30 years ago, at the Belgian GP. It was his only stint in the car as he was called in the last minute where he put in a devastating performance which quickly yielded him a seat at Benetton where he eventually won two world titles on the trot in the next 2 years.

The Jordan 191 wasn't the fastest car in 1991 but it was the car Michael Schumacher made his F1 debut in
His drive happened at the Northamptonshire circuit as a part of the Sky Sports feature for the Belgian GP. This came right after the young German drive to a decent 18th at the British GP. This is not the first time the young Schumacher has driver one of his father's cars.
In 2020, he drove the F2004 at Mugello before the race, as a part of Ferrari's 1000th GP celebrations. In 2017, he drove his father's Benetton B194 in which he had won his first world title. Even in 2019, Mick Schumacher had driven the F2004 at Hockenheim in Germany.
The Jordan 191 is worth $2.32 million and is one of the most collectable cars in the world considering it was the first car driven by one of the all-time greatest drivers. Schumacher had qualified in P7 on a grid that had 30 cars. Schumacher had qualified ahead of his teammate Andrea De Cesaris. It featured a Ford V8 engine and was driven at Donnington last year as well.
