Moto Guzzi V85 TT Launched In India; Priced At Rs. 15.4 Lakh

- 853 cc v-twin makes 79 bhp at 7,500 rpm, 82 Nm at 5,000 rpm
- New engine meets latest emission regulations
- New wheels shod with new tubeless tyres
Piaggio India has launched the 2021 Moto Guzzi V85 TT in India, and has priced it at Rs. 15.40 lakh (Ex-showroom), an almost Rs. 3 lakh increase over the previous generation model. The new Moto Guzzi V85 TT meets the latest emission regulations, and also gets minor updates. The 853 cc, air-cooled, transverse, 90-degree v-twin engine remains the same, but with tightening emission regulations, it has seen a minor reduction in peak power output. The Moto Guzzi V85TT is a middleweight adventure bike, and will compete in the same space as the Triumph Tiger 900.

The bike somes with 5 riding modes, and Euro 5/BS6 compliant engine
The 853 cc, transverse v-twin, two-valve engine makes 75 bhp at 7,500 rpm, which is slightly lower than the earlier model's 79 bhp. The engine now produces 82 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm, as against 81.3 Nm of the previous model. The bike comes with an upside down 41 mm hydraulic telescopic fork, with adjustable extension and spring preload. At the rear is a lateral mono-shock, also with adjustable extension and spring preload. Brembo four-piston calipers, gripping twin 320 mm discs on the front wheel, and a two-piston caliper gripping a single 260 mm disc handle braking duties. ABS is standard.

Fuel tank capacity is 23 litres and kerb weight is a reasonably hefty 230 kg. On the rider aids, the Moto Guzzi V85 TT gets ride-by-wire which enables five riding modes, Street, Rain, Off-Road, Sport and Custom. Also available is traction control and cruise control. The anti-lock braking system (ABS) and traction control system have different levels of intervention based on the selected mode. The V85 TT also comes with a 4.3-inch TFT instrument console, all-LED lighting and with a wheel combination of 19-inch front and 17-inch rear, shod with new tubeless tyres.
