Norwegian Startup Fresco Unveils 8-seater 1,000 Km EV

- The eight seater has an unique design that looks like a Magic Mouse
- It has a range of 1,000 km despite its eight seater capacity
- It will use a double stacked cell battery architecture
Fresco which was last heard off in 2019 because of its first EV - the Reverie - is back again, this time around, with a car that has to accommodate eight passengers and has a range of 1,000 km on a single charge. The car is called the Fresco XL which is a carrier type of vehicle whose battery pack is not part of a separate skateboard but a part of the main structure. Fresco is taking $1,128 deposited for the final product which will be at around $112,860.

The vehicle touts 1,000 km range and eight seats
Fresco hasn't revealed how big the battery is but the company also has revealed it will have V2L capabilities and its cells will be double stacked for maximum storage capacity. There will be two motors, one on each axle and it has been designed in such a way that it works well in harsh climate conditions. This is a logical decision considering Fresco is from Norway which has an extremely cold climate.
Looks-wise, it almost looks like a giant Apple Magic Mouse that comes with an iMac. It gets a light rail on the front but there are no images of the interior of the vehicle. Overall, Fresco still needs to come out of the gate with more information about the car before it can be taken seriously as something that will actually make it to production and will be delivered to customers.
