Kids get obsessed with the silliest of things. That is why it's a relief when they suddenly start obsessing over something as simple as cars. It's pretty easy to please them this way. Cars

Cars takes place in a unique universe where cars rule the world instead of humans. This iconic film tells the story of a famous racecar named Lightning Mcqueen who finds friendship and family in the unlikeliest of towns after accidentally getting separated from his racing team. This film has got two wonderful sequels, so don't forget to catch them as well.
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

There is an unbelievable amount of fun and emotion packed inside this acclaimed movie from the late 1960s. Co-written by the great Roald Dahl himself, this musical revolves around an inventor who manages to turn a broken-down Grand Prix car into a magical machine that flies them to a far-off land.
Herbie: Fully Loaded

This flick stars Lindsey Lohan as the new owner of a Volkswagen bug that has a mind of its own. It's one of our favourite car movies for kids and is part of a series that had started in the 1960s. We'd advise you to watch the other five films as well.
Turbo

Ever wondered what a racing competition for snails would look like? Turbo is every bit as crazy as it sounds. It revolves around an ordinary garden snail named Turbo who dreams of becoming the world's fastest snail.
Speed Racer

2008 saw the release of Speed Racer, a live-action film based on the classic anime from the 1960s. It was directed by the Wachowskis, who are famous for giving us The Matrix movies. This movie is a treat to the eyes due to its unique visuals. And its frenzied action sequences will definitely thrill you to the max.
Bumblebee

This is the latest addition to the long-running Transformers series of films and it also acts as a prequel to the other flicks. Bumblebee focuses on the titular character's arrival on Earth and its interaction with an 18-year-old girl who is dealing with problems of her own. If you and your kids have some more free time, do watch the other Transformer movies as well.
Back to the Future

One more trilogy in this list of our favourite car movies for kids is Back to the Future, the sci-fi extravaganza from the 1980s that shook the world with its time-travelling brilliance. The famous DeLorean car that's used by the characters in this series is an icon in itself and so are the heaps of quotable dialogues from the films.
