Highlights

Peugeot has fully revealed the 2008 DKR which will tackle the Dakar Rally in 2015. It has been a 25-year hiatus and Peugeot's return has been most anticipated and the car is the 2008 DKR.

It looks simply gorgeous as well as aggressive and the black livery just makes it look even more beastly. It rides on chunky 37-inch off-road Michelin tyres and gets large rear wing while there are no rear doors.

There are no details about the powerplant yet and more details will emerge soon. But for the time-being we know that the Peugeot 2008 DKR will have a two-wheel drive layout.

Team Peugeot Total will bank on Carlos Sainz and Cyril Despres to take them across the line. Additional information will be released on April 20 during the press day of Beijing Motor Show.
