Renault Celebrates 10 Years In India With A New Renault Kiger RXT (O) Variant; Announces Other Benef

- The Renault Kiger is the latest entrant in the subcompact SUV space.

- The bookings of Renault Kiger RXT(O) will begin on August 6.
Renault India has introduced a new RXT (O) variant in the Kiger range celebrating its decade long journey in India. Surprisingly, it hasn't revealed the price yet, but has confirmed it for 1.0-litre Energy Engine in both MT and AMT transmissions. It is positioned below the RXZ trim being more affordable and will get features like the Tri-octa LED headlights, 16-inch cm diamond-cut alloy wheels, and will be available in dual-tone body colours. On the inside, it will get the PM2.5 Advanced Atmospheric Filter and wireless smartphone connectivity 8.0-inch display link floating touchscreen infotainment system among others. The bookings of Renault Kiger RXT(O) will begin on August 6, 2021.

The dashboard gets a minimalist, layered design and an 8.0-inch touchscreen system.
The company has also announced more benefits across its model range on the occasion. It is organising a 'Freedom Carnival' from August 6 to 15 across India except Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa and Kerala. These States will have specific offers with maximum benefits of up to Rs. 90,000 ahead of the festive season starting with Ganesh Chathurthi and Onam. Under the 'Freedom Carnival', Renault is offering additional benefits to the customers booking Renault cars during the 10 day period. These additional benefits are over and above the attractive offers valid throughout the month. The company has also announced the 'Buy Now, Pay in 2022' scheme on the purchase of Kwid, Triber and Kiger, wherein the buyers can opt for a new Renault vehicle now and start paying EMIs after 6 months.

The Renault Kiger offers solid value for money. The pricing is quite aggressive and the SUV offers good performance along with a decent list of features as well.
The French carmaker that started its journey with the Renault Duster has sold over seven lakh vehicles in India so far. The Renault Kiger is its latest launch in our market and comes with a choice of two petrol engines - 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated Energy petrol and a 1.0-litre turbocharged engine. Transmission options include a five-speed manual, a CVT transmission and an AMT gearbox.
