The much-awaited 9^th installment of the ultra-popular franchise, Fast and Furious was released earlier this year with an ensemble cast, larger-than-life action scenes and of course, cars! One cannot speak of Fast and Furious without the mention of the splendid cars that the movies feature every time. And we have Dennis McCarthy, the picture-car coordinator for the franchise, to thank for it all. Every car that makes it to the movie is essentially his idea, and thankfully so! How else could we have been exposed to such a wondrous line of high-performance cars one after the other? Of course, as the franchise escalates so does the iteration of the Dodge Charger, and this time around, the producers relied on a Wisconsin-based custom car shop to help create a mid-engine Hell Cat that cost $1 million+. While the original car comprises a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8–powered 1968 Charger, the stunt car was powered by LS3 crate motors. Now, that's the beauty of movie making!
