World EV Day 2022: Tork Motors Launches Pit Crew Service On Wheels For Kratos Electric Motorcycle

Pune-based Tork Motors has launched the new Pit Crew Service on Wheels initiative on the occasion of World EV Day 2022. The mobile service van offers deliveries, servicing, sales and spares at the customer's doorstep for the Kratos electric motorcycle. Pit Crew is currently operational in Pune and will roll out to other cities including Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad by the end of this financial year. The service van will cater to sales and after-sales requirements for the Kratos.

Moreover, the multipurpose Pit Crew will be the first touch point to connect with customers for our impending dealer partners across India, as they can start operations while the showrooms are getting ready. With this distinctive business model, we are looking at fostering our service network as well as extending our reach across cities."
The Pit Crew service van also acts as a compact showroom and service centre on wheels and is capable to carry out periodic maintenance on the motorcycles. The van can accommodate three motorcycles at a time for delivery purposes. It also carries the necessary tools, spare parts and other consumables to support immediate and last-minute vehicle maintenance requirements.
The service van also comes with two motorcycle chargers of 700 watt
Furthermore, the service is equipped with GPS and WiFi and is thermally insulated to maintain a lower temperature inside the van. It's also connected to the cloud to detect any software error and provide necessary updates to the motorcycles while servicing. The service van is equipped with a 4000 watt inverter with a 5.4 kWh battery. It also gets two motorcycle chargers of 700 watt for on-the-spot vehicle charging requirements. Additionally, dry cleaning and polishing of the motorcycles can be done inside the van with a considerable amount of space divided into office and service areas.
