Pros Cons of Tata Curvv

Pros

  • Unique coupe SUV styling
  • Strong road presence
  • Feature-rich interior
  • Premium design language
  • Distinct segment identity

Cons

  • Rear headroom compromise
  • Cabin space slightly limited
  • Tech glitches observed
  • ADAS overly sensitive sometimes

Verdict

After spending serious time behind the wheel, it’s clear that the Curvv isn’t trying to be just another safe, predictable SUV. Instead, it focuses on standing out. The progressive coupe-like style, advanced technology and impressive road presence provide it with the personality that most compact SUVs lack. That’s really the core appeal of the Tata Curvv — it offers something visually and conceptually different in a segment where many vehicles start to look and feel similar.

Of course, there are a few compromises. The sloping roofline slightly affects rear headroom, and a few small interior quirks show up during longer drives. But overall, the Curvv delivers a refreshing mix of style, features and everyday usability.

As Bilal Firfiray sums it up, The Curvv brings something different to a crowded compact SUV segment.”

Best For

  • Style-focused SUV buyers
  • Coupe SUV enthusiasts
  • Young urban drivers
  • Premium design seekers

Not Ideal For

  • Maximum rear space seekers
  • Traditional SUV buyers
  • Practical family buyers
  • Conservative design users

Pros Cons of Tata Harrier

Pros

  • The new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine
  • The 14.5-inch touchscreen
  • JBL Dolby Atmos audio system
  • Excellent ride quality on all road surfaces

Cons

  • The touch-sensitive climate control panel
  • No AWD or 4x4 option
  • The massive width hinders city parking

Verdict

With the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol motor, Tata has fixed its biggest shortcoming and made the Harrier accessible to a much wider audience now. Its suspension feels robust as ever, the massive rear-seat space is segment-leading, and the five-star rating means it can handle most of whatever challenging Indian road conditions throw at it. The distracting HVAC controls and inconsistent service standards at service centers can bother some, but for the most part, the Harrier’s toughness and loaded tech kit will overshadow everything else.

Seshan sums up the car,

“This new petrol engine fits the Harrier well. If you were on the fence purely because it was diesel-only, it now deserves a serious look.”
