KTM Offers Software Upgrades For Older Models Of 390 Adventure

KTM is set to introduce its new software on the older models of the 390 Adventure. Owners of KTM 390 Adventure models which were sold between 2019-2021 can get the software updated on their motorcycles, which includes two traction control modes – Street and Off-road and UI layout that debuted with the latest model, which was launched in May 2022.
The software update will arrive in about two to four weeks, and interested customers will just have to head to their nearest KTM dealerships to get the ‘ABS software Hex file’ to enjoy the upgrade.
The current 2022 KTM 390 Adventure was launched recently in the Indian market, with a new paint scheme namely Dark Galvano Black and our favorite Factory Racing Blue with 5-spoke alloys and a few tech updates including Traction control mode, and two new riding modes namely street and off-road. The motorcycle is priced at Rs 3,28,500 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Software updated bring an updated UI and two traction control modes in line with the 2022 model (pictured).
The 390 Adventure gets a 373 cc single-cylinder engine which makes 42.3 bhp of power at 9,000 rpm and 37 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. It gets a 19-inch alloy wheel at the front and a 17-inch alloy wheel at the rear. The suspension on the motorcycle is equipped with WP Apex 43 mm USD forks at the front and a WP Apex mono-shock unit at the rear.
The KTM 390 Adventure comes under the segment of entry level Adventure Touring motorcycles with both on-road and off-road capabilities. Some of the rival models are the Yezdi Adventure and Royal Enfield Himalayan.
