2014 Renault Fluence goes on sale in India

Renault India has launched the 2014 Renault Fluence in India at a starting price of Rs 13.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). This mid-life facelift gets cosmetic updates and there are no changes made to the Fluence under the skin. (Check out the gallery of Renault Fluence)
Although, the car largely remains unchanged in terms of design; new bumper, revised front grille, new alloy wheels and daytime running LEDs, give its front fascia a more pleasing and stylish look. In terms of equipment level, the car now features an a 3D sound system with eight speakers, dual-zone climate control, electronic parking brake and a digital instrument cluster.

Other features that are offered with the Fluence are start/stop button, front and rear parking sensors, rain sensing wipers, cruise control, rear AC vents, dusk sensing headlamps, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD) and brake assist. The top-end variant of the Fluence also has electronic stability programme (ESP) and side airbags along with front airbags offered on the base variant.
Powering the Renault Fluence is the 1.5-litre K9K turbocharged diesel engine, which mated to a six-speed manual gearbox produces 240Nm of peak torque. The company claims this engine to return 20.4kmpl of mileage.
For a better after-sales service experience, Renault is offering a Renault Complete Care Package that includes 2+2 year or 80,000 km warranty and 4 Year road-side assistance.
