2017 Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 And GLA 45 India Launch Date Announced

Further expanding its AMG line-up in India, Mercedes-Benz has announced the launch of the new AMG CLA 45 and GLA 45. The cars are slated to be launched on November 7 and with the addition these two models, the total number of AMG cars introduced in India this year alone has gone up to 7. Both the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 and the GLA 45 are entry-level models from the company's performance hand and will thus be two of the most affordable AMG models in India.
The Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 and the GLA 45 get the same 2-litre, in-line 4, turbocharged engine mated to an AMG Speedshift DCT 7-Speed sports transmission. The engine makes a maximum of 375 bhp and develops peak torque of 475 Nm. Both the cars also get the support of AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive system, which aid in offering better power distribution. The cars also come with AMG dynamic plus package with four modes.

Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 andd GLA 45 gets new black paint job with yellow highlights
Visually also the 2017 models of the AMG CLA 45 and AMG GLA 45 will gets some minor cosmetic tweaks. Based on these images, the cars will get a new stylish glossy black paint job with yellow highlights. The car also gets a matte black racing stripe that runs along the hood, roof and boot of the cars. The cars also get the signature AMG styling and body kit along with black grille and AMG badging on the slat along with an aggressive front bumper housing a wide central airdam and large air intakes on either side for increased air inflow.
There are AMG graphics on both sides above the side skirts and yellow highlight on the front bumper, tyre wall, ORVMs and the rear bumper as well to add a bit of contrast. The GLA comes with a rear spoiler as well that also gets the yellow highlight. Both the cars get sporty 19-inch alloy wheels but while the CLA 45 gets twin 9-spoke design, the GLA 45 gets single 9-spoke wheels. In addition to that car also features projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights, LED taillamps and rear diffuser with a quad-exhaust setup.
The cabin comes with typical AMG-style interior with an all-black layout and red contract lines and stitching along the dashboard, side panels and the leather seats. A multi-functional steering wheel also comes wrapped in black leather with the red stitching, while the centre stage on the dashboard is taken by infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink for smartphone connectivity.
