2018 Bajaj Discover 110 and Discover 125 Spied; Launch Soon

Having announced upgrades for the Pulsar series for MY2018, Bajaj Auto will soon introduce upgrades for the Discover range. The bike maker will soon a new Discover 110 variant to the commuter family, while the Discover 125 is all set to get cosmetic upgrades as well, as per the latest spy images emerged online. The Bajaj Discover 110 will sit above the current Platina in the company's stable and will taken on a host of commuter offerings including the TVS Victor, Hero Passion Pro, Honda Dream series and the likes.
The 110 cc executive commuter segment is extremely popular as well as volume friendly too and Bajaj was missing out on the action. The new Discover 110 is expected to use a completely new diamond single downtube frame that will replace the downtube cradle frame. The new chassis will not be only be lighter but offer better feedback as well, thereby offering improved fuel efficiency.

With respect to visual changes, the new Bajaj Discover 110 uses the same styling as that on the 125 variant, but with new '110' decals. That said, you do notice the skinnier tyres, and the absence of a front disc brake. The motorcycle also features black-finished alloy wheels, engine, and front forks, while the instrument cluster is a new analag-digital unit.
The 2018 Bajaj Discover 110 will be using a new 110 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that is expected to produce about 8.5 bhp and 9 Nm of peak torque. The engine will come paired to a 4-speed gearbox. The suspension setup on the new Bajaj Discover 110 remains the essential telescopic forks up front and and twin gas charged shock absorbers at the rear. Drum brakes at both ends offer stopping power.

Meanwhile, the Bajaj Discover 125 gets new body decals for the 2018 model year. The design remains the same and the Discover 125 continues with the same single-cylinder, air-cooled engine churning out about 11 bhp and 10.8 Nm of peak torque, while paired to a 4-speed transmission.
The Bajaj Discover 110 is expected to carry a price tag of around Rs. 48,000, while the new Discover 125 is likely to be priced around Rs. 55,000 (all-prices, ex-showroom). Both bikes look ready for deliveries, and Bajaj is likely to introduce the models in a few days. Keep watching this space for more information on the upcoming Discover range.
