4 Lesser Known Facts about Tesla

The real reason for buying a Tesla is the simple and traditional one. Those people simply like the cars! Surveys show that people opting for a Tesla are already EV owners or they put Elon Musk at the top of their list of considerations!
Since the beginning, Tesla has been a brand that got mixed responses from the world. However, much like any other rebel and rule-breaker, Tesla made a niche for itself. Since its release, the cars have gone through a series of updates in their software and hardware alike. Tesla was the pioneer of the first-electric SUV and released it on the second-gen platform.

Tesla proudly claimed some of its models as the best-in-class vehicles, furnished with a second-row bench seat and also folding seats for the 5-seater configurations. The interior cargo storage is something to die for. However, not everything about Tesla was all-so-wow at first but they learnt from their mistakes! The best thing about Tesla is they find solutions for every problem regarding their cars and try to satisfy their customers as conveniently as possible. They address every issue in public and then get down to helping customers. Here are some facts that you should know about the brand.

Elon Musk is not the Father!
Tesla is not to Elon Musk what Apple was to Steve Jobs. The brand was kick-started and created by the founders, namely Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning. Later, Elon Mask got involved with the company and took it into bigger territory. Mask's involvement indeed made a huge difference around a year since its inception, but he actually stepped in as an investor.
A brand adorned with the 5-star safety rating
The story behind this honour is even better than the honour itself. One of Tesla's Model Tesla X vehicles failed to stand up to the mark during the safety test as it broke one of its safety testing machines at a testing facility. That time, Tesla made up its mind to stand firm and change the whole story. So they placed four additional fully loaded Model S vehicles on top of an owner's car without the roof caving in. After that, while engaged in a roll-over test, the car stayed stable without budging, because of its low centre of gravity. And thus, the National Highway Traffic safety administration could not help but give them the award that Tesla richly deserved!
Tesla Roadster was the first to step into the EV market.
Most Tesla lovers have the information that the Tesla X was the most popular model early in its days, but actually, it was the Tesla Roadster that opened its doors first. The Roadster was an all-electric sports car that even Donald Trump, the former U.S President, drove around for a while. However, the first-gen Roadster was not that popular although its 2020 successor caught on and how!
A brand that cares about the environment
Few companies genuinely care for sustainable energy in this mechanical era, and Tesla is one of them. The city of Sparks, Nevada, is still under construction and Tesla is building a small portion of the facility. Tesla uses a lithium-ion battery for its vehicles and from now on, it will use 100 percent renewable energy. This step will make the brand more environmentally friendly than it already is! Tesla claims that the cost of production will reduce after this step and the result is that its cars will be more affordable in the near future.

There are other facts that people don't know about Tesla. Maybe they know the mechanisms and technology that Tesla uses but what about the origin story? The story of its inception is fascinating to say the least and today it is an undisputed leader in the EV space.
