2019 BMW S 1000 RR: Price Expectation

The new generation BMW S 1000 RR will be launched in India today on June 27, 2019. BMW Motorrad's flagship supersport has received a bulk of changes over its predecessor including a completely new frame, engine and electronic aids, as well as cosmetic upgrades. The previous generation BMW S 1000 RR was always an expensive affair over its competition but managed to offer exceptional levels of performance. The new version promises all that and even more. But how will the new generation version be priced in India? Here's what we think.

  Jawa Motorcycles Introduces Accessories & Riding Gear

  Classic Legends Private Limited has rolled out accessories, merchandise and riding gear for the Jawa Motorcycles. Prices start from as low as Rs. 399 for a grab rail, going up to Rs. 7,499 for a riding jacket. The accessories list includes bar-end mirrors, engine crash guard in chrome and matte black, different grab rails, Hammerhead base plate, luggage rack and more. Meanwhile, buyers can opt for a textile mesh riding jacket from Rynox, full leather gauntlet gloves, and open face helmets with a visor. The helmets are available in two design options - Corona and Halo and are priced at Rs. 2,349 respectively. In addition, Jawa also offers t-shirts for Rs. 899 each.

  KTM RC 125 Deliveries Begin Across India

  KTM India recently introduced the RC 125 in the country. The baby KTM RC 125 is the brand's smallest full faired offering and shares its underpinnings with the KTM 125 Duke. Priced at Rs. 1.47 lakh (ex-showroom India, Introductory), deliveries for the RC 125 have begun across dealerships. The KTM Rc 125 takes on the Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 at its price point, and it will be interesting to see if customers flock to the KTM dealerships instead of Yamaha's for a small capacity track tool. The RC 125 is about Rs. 17,000 more expensive than the 125 Duke and gets a number of changes including the clip-on handlebar, projector headlamps, LED DRLs, and of course, the full fairing.
