Alibaba Group Launches OS'Car RX5, the 'Internet-Connected Car'

- The car was developed in partnership with SAIC Motor Corporation
- OS'Car RX5 is the first car to get an "Internet ID"
- It is priced between CNY 99,800 - CNY 186,800

The new car promises advanced fuel technology, more powerful accelerator, lower oil consumption, and a shorter braking distance. Furthermore, the OS'Car RX5 also gets a myriad of inevntive features such as intelligent map, location tracking without WiFi or GPS, and automatic change in map zoom size based on the car speed. With audio being the primary principal mode for controlling the system, the car can also take direct commands via smart voice control.
The car, first to get an "Internet ID", can recognise the driver through connected smartphones or smartwatches and also facilitates personalised services such as greetings, preferred music, and destinations. It also comes decked with up to four detachable action cameras that allows users to not only record videos, but also take 360-degree in-car selfies which can be shared instantly via the connected smartphone.
Available in China, the OS'Car RX5 is priced between CNY 99,800 - CNY 186,800 (Rs. 10,07,240 - Rs. 18,85,295).
