Audi e-tron And e-tron Sportback To Be Offered With Different Ownership Service Plans

- The Audi e-tron will be launched on July 22, 2021
- The Audi e-tron will get service for two or five years,
- Customers can buy extended warranty for 2+2 or 2+3 years
Audi India is gearing up to introduce its first-ever electric offering on July 22, 2021. And ahead of the launch of the Audi e-tron and the e-tron Sportback, the automaker has announced that it will offer curated ownership plans to customers to make the electric offerings more attractive. The Audi e-tron SUV will be available in two variants - 50 and 55 Quattro, whereas the Audi e-tron Sportback will go on sale in the single top-spec 55 Quattro variant. The new e-tron will take on the Mercedes-Benz EQC and the Jaguar I-Pace in the segment.

Commenting on the same, Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, said, "We are fully geared to launch the Audi e-tron 50, the Audi e-tron 55 and the Audi e-tron Sportback 55 in India and want to ensure that our Customers have the best ownership experience. A very important aspect of this will be after-sales service and we are excited to announce these bespoke plans that will go a long way in enriching the EV experience for our customers. Transitioning to electric mobility will be a journey and we want to make this stress-free at every step of the way."

The Audi e-tron's battery gets an 8 years/160,000 km warranty, whichever is earlier
As part of the ownership packages, Audi India is offering service plans for two years or five years. The e-tron range will come with a standard warranty of two years while the high voltage battery warranty stands at eight years or 160,000 km, whichever is earlier. Customers also have the option to purchase an extended warranty of 2+2 years or 2+3 years on the model.

Comprehensive Service Plans are also available for a period of four or five years. Under this, the cost of service, periodic maintenance of the brakes, suspension and extended warranty will be covered. Furthermore, Audi is offering a buyback option and an assured price up to three years from the date of purchase. The German automaker will also offer complimentary roadside assistance for five years. The company's on-call advisors will also be trained to troubleshoot problems should the electric car face issues on the move.
