Audi Gives Minor Updates to the A6 and the A7

- Audi gives subtle updates to the A6 and A7 internationally
- Minor cosmetic updates to the front and rear and inside as well
- Both A6 and A7 now get Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
It was just last year that the A6 received a comprehensive mid-life facelift from Audi and was introduced in India as well. But the Ingolstadt based manufacturer believes that there is still some updates that could be given to the A6 and the A7.
It has recently rolled out A6 and A7 models with subtle updates in the international markets. With the introduction of the optional S-line package, the A6 will get a new radiator grille done in matte black along with chrome accents for the air inlets on the sides. Also, the rear bumper has tweaked to become more angular now and the rear diffuser is a new piece as well. Inside, the A6 and the A7 now get LED lighting for the cabin and the boot as well. Audi is also offering the option of adding accents in 'Alumimium Ellipse silver' and birch natural grey. Both the A6 and the A7 now get heated seats at the front and electrical adjustment for lumbar support as well.

Updates to the MMI system have also been given as now the A6 and A7 can be fitted with either Apple CarPlay or Android Auto on the MMI monitor. Both the cars now get inductive charging for mobile phones conforming to Qi standards. Phones with Qi technology can be charged wirelessly. One can specify their A6 or A7 with Audi tablets for the rear passengers, which are detachable as well and can be used while away from the car.
Audi has also introduced three new colours for the A6 and the A7, which are matador red, Gotland green and Java brown. Also, there are two brand new alloy wheel designs available to choose from. Audi says that there are no changes to the starting prices and that the both the models will be available worldwide at the earliest.
