- The Honda CBR250R will go back on sale in 2018
- Updates include a full-LED headlamp, new graphics and colours
- The Honda CBR250R gets no mechanical changes for 2018
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has unveiled the 2018 CBR250R at the ongoing Auto Expo 2018. One of the first quarter-litre offerings in its segment, the CBR250R was pulled off the market last year when it did not get BS-IV upgrades. However, the company has taken its time and has now introduced the 2018 edition that gets new colour options, decals and a full-LED headlamp as part of the updates for 2018. In addition to the new CBR250R, HMSI also unveiled the all-new X-Blade, Activa 5G as well as the complete 2018 line-up at the biennial auto show.

In terms of the powertrain, the 2018 Honda CBR250R continues using the same 249 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine tuned to produce 26 bhp at 8500 rpm and 22.9 Nm of peak torque at 7000 rpm. The motor comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The CBR250R uses telescopic forks up front and a monoshock setup at the rear, while braking performance continues to come from discs at either end.
