Euler Bags An Order For 2500 EVs From Flipkart, BigBasket And Other E-Commerce Firms

- Euler has baged an order for 2500 EVs ahead of its first product launch

- Euler Motors will launch its first electric vehicle this festive season
Delhi-based electric vehicle startup, Euler Motors has announced bagging an order for 2500 electric three-wheelers, ahead of its maiden launch. The company, which focuses on electric commercial vehicles, has received orders from several eCommerce giants, including BigBasket, Flipkart, Udaan, Hyperlocal and few B2B delivery players. Euler's electric three-wheelers will be deployed across Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai, to strengthen the aforementioned brands' first, mid & last-mile operations. The deliveries of these vehicles are scheduled to take place in the next 6-8 months.

Euler Motors will launch its first electric vehicle - the L5 electric three-wheeler around this festive season. Having said that, over 300 Euler electric vehicles have already hit the roads in Delhi-NCR, as part of its pre-launch pilot with eCommerce, FMCG companies for intra-city delivery. In fact, the company claims that it has already clocked over 10 million electric kilometres and helped reduce carbon emissions of over 1000 tonnes, which is equivalent to 1 million litres of saved fuel.

Commenting on the latest development, Saurav Kumar, Founder and CEO, Euler Motors said, "We are delighted to see the strong pre-launch order booking, which is testimony to the customer confidence in and the strong performance and value proposition of our product. Our discussions with them have shaped our product deeply, based on valuable insights around customer needs and use case scenarios. We will soon focus on expanding our capacity and footprint to better meet our customers in more locations and in scale expectations."
Talking about the partnership with Euler, Sujeet Kumar, Co-Founder Udaan, the B2B trade platform, said, "We at Udaan remain steadfast in our endeavour to move our fleet to EVs as they are economical and environmentally friendly. The full-stack approach that Euler Motors has taken to help companies transition to electric mobility has given us a lot of comfort in the day-to-day operations of our fleet. We have seen a significant rise in operational efficiency and tangible savings as their electric vehicle offers a higher payload capacity when compared to any competing ICE vehicle."
Looking at the amount of interest its electric vehicles have generation ahead of the product launch, Euler Motors is confident that it will make bigger strides in the Indian electric commercial vehicle space in the coming years. To cater to the massive demand from eCommerce, Euler Motors also plans to expand its production capacity to enable the fulfilment of the projected demand growth. The company has already raised funds from ADB Ventures, Blume Ventures, Inventus Capital India, Jetty Ventures. Additionally, it also manages a network of 100+ charging infrastructure in Delhi NCR to support Electric Vehicles on the ground.
