Ford EcoSport Signature Edition Launched; Price Starts At Rs. 9.26 Lakh

In the midst of ongoing festive offers and launches, Ford has introduced a new EcoSport with Signature Edition range of accessories in India. Priced at Rs. 9.26 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), this updated Ford EcoSport comes with a host of trendy and sporty accessories that alone cost Rs. 37,894, inclusive of fitment and painting. Essentially it is the same EcoSport Black Titanium trim, which was introduced early this year, equipped with a host of add-on accessories and exterior graphics.
The exterior profile of the Ford EcoSport Signature Edition comes with several cosmetic changes that add a fresh look to the car. Up front, the SUV comes with all-new LED daytime running lamps made of a string of five LED lights placed right below the fog lamp bezel. According to Ford, the new DRLs not only enhance the visual appeal of the EcoSport but considerably improves the visibility in low-light conditions. The front and rear bumper of the car now come with new silver appliques that add to the EcoSport's sporty stance. You'll also notice new body graphics on the side profile of the car with the 'EcoSport' badging on them.
Ford's new Signature Edition range of accessories will be dealer fitter on the existing EcoSport Black variant that already offers features like - all-black treatment on the exteriors that includes - a black grille, black-out moulded headlamps, 16-inch black alloy wheels, black mirrior covers, black fog lamp bezel, black roof rails and roof rails.
Inside, the cabin of the new EcoSport Signature Edition features bright, illuminated scuff plates along with black vinyl seat covers with rd stitching that gives the interior a bit of an upmarket feel. Rest of the car's features remain unchanged like - Ford's SYNC with Applink, the carmaker's advanced in-car connectivity system and safety option of having up to six airbags.
Under the hood, the car will continue to come with the choice of the 1.5-litre petrol engine with both manual and automatic transmission option, a 1.5-litre TDCi diesle motor and a globally -acclaimed 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine. Transmission duties are taken care of by the same 5-speed manual gearbox and the 6-speed dual clutch transmission unit.
