Hero Passion Pro i3S Launched At Rs 50,955

- New Hero Passion Pro i3S gets BS-IV engine
- New features also include Auto Headlight On (AHO)
- No major changes in styling and engine
Hero MotoCorp has launched the new Passion Pro i3S with an updated engine which now meets BS-IV emission regulations. Along with the BS-IV engine, the Passion Pro i3S also features the i3S system, the start-stop feature which switches off the engine when idling in neutral and starts automatically when the clutch is pulled in. The Hero Passion Pro i3S also comes with the automatic headlight on (AHO) feature, which will become mandatory for all new two wheelers later this year.
(Hero Passion Pro i3S)Prices for the new Passion Pro i3S start at Rs 50,955 for the drum brake version with spoked wheel. Two more variants are available - drum brake with alloy wheel at Rs 51,905 (ex-showroom Delhi) and the top-of -the-line disc brake with alloy wheel variant at Rs 53,805 (ex-showroom Delhi). There are no other major changes on the bike, with the same 97.2 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, carburetted engine which makes 8.24 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 8.05 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. Visually too, there are no major changes or upgrades to the new Passion Pro i3S.
(Hero Passion Pro i3S- Idle Start Stop System switch)Officially, Hero MotoCorp hasn't announced the launch of the new Passion Pro i3S yet, but details about features and prices are already available on the company website. The bike is also available for immediate sale at Hero dealerships. The Passion Pro, along with the other commuter bike models from Hero MotoCorp like HF Dawn, HF Deluxe and Splendor make up the bulk of the world's largest two wheeler maker's motorcycle sales, selling over 4.5 lakh bikes a month. With the BS-IV ready engine, AHO and the i3S system, the Passion Pro gets an important upgrade. The Hero Passion Pro i3S competes with the likes of the Honda Dream Yuga and the TVS Victor.
