Honda CD 110 Dream Deluxe Self Start Launched; Priced at Rs. 46,197

Showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo last month, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has officially launched the CD 110 Dream Deluxe commuter bike in the country priced at Rs. 46,197 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Japanese bike maker has also commenced deliveries of the new variant across the country and now comes with a self start button, in addition to the kick start lever.
Since its launch in 2014, the Honda CD 110 Dream Deluxe has been a popular seller for the bike maker. With the self start option, buyers now get a convenience feature that is already present in a host of rivaling products in the segment. Some of the salient features on the Dream Deluxe include an elongated seat, tubeless tyres, viscous air filter and a maintenance free battery.
Aesthetically, the Honda CD 110 Dream Deluxe gets new colour graphics including black with green stripe. The graphics are also exclusive to the new variant. In terms of dimensions, the CD 110 Dream Deluxe measures 2009mm in length, 737mm in width and 1074mm in height. The wheelbase is measured at 1258mm, while the ground clearance is an appreciable 179 kg, ensuring the commuter wades through our pothole ridden roads.
Talking about the powertrain, the Honda CD 110 Dream Deluxe continues to use the same 109.2cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine tuned to produce 8.25bhp at 7500rpm and 8.63Nm of peak torque available at 5500rpm. The motor is paired to a 4-speed gearbox. The bike maker has also equipped the CD 110 Dream Deluxe with its Honda Eco Technology (HET) that has helped improve the fuel efficiency to 74 km/l. The entry-level commuter comes with a kerb weight of 105 kg, making for a decent power-to-weight ratio, whereas the fuel tank capacity at 8-litres makes for a healthy tank range.
The new Honda CD 110 Dream Deluxe self-start variant will be available in a total of four colours including three existing ones. The CD 110 Dream range starts at Rs. 43,997 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
