Bollywood's Big B owns a rare Ford Prefect in sunshine yellow colour. The car was introduced in UK in 1938 and remained in production until 1961. The upgraded model of the car featured the three-box structure over its previous sit-up-and-beg structure which made it a rare possession back then. The car holds special value to the actor because during his childhood, the Prefect was the first family car owned by the Bachchans in the 1950s, but was later sold. This model was gifted to Big B by a friend who heard about actor´s memories with the car.

Recently, when Dhoni announced his retirement, he also gifted himself a rare set of wheels- a fiery red Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, that looks to be from the 2nd generation, manufactured in the 70s. Dhoni seems to have a fondness for American exotic cars because he also has a Hummer H2 and a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk in his garage.

Where Indian celebs go for luxury cars and cruisers, Randeep got his hands on a world war 2 vintage Willy's Jeep. The bare-boned Willy's Jeep holds nostalgic memories for many Indians. Willy´s came to India as a part of USA´s Lend Lease program to the British during world war 2. Over 2000 jeeps were despatched to Burma in 1943 to help with the world war hostilities there. From there, the jeeps were used to patrol the rugged terrain of north-east India. After the war, the jeeps were sold to Indians who could buy them. Around that time, Mahindra & Mahindra decided to collaborate with Willy´s Overland to start manufacturing these jeeps locally. The one that Hooda purchased seems to be the original Willys MB that was imported to India during the war.

Jackie Shroff is not known for his motor collection but one of the rare gems in his garage, the SS Jaguar 100 is not one to miss. The car spoke of luxury and class at the time it was introduced in the market and still carries the same vibe. The design, the removable roof and the brand name associated with the car give it the feel of a class vehicle even in the present day.
