The Jeep dealership is being operated by Concept Motorcar Pvt. Ltd., and is the first of the 10 outlets that the company plans to open in the country by the end of this year. The showroom will be retailing all three Jeep models - Grand Cherokee, Grand Cherokee SRT and Wrangler Unlimited.
At the inauguration of the Ahmedabad Jeep Destination Store, Mr Kevin Flynn, President and Managing Director, Jeep India said, "We have been noting the growing interest around the Jeep Brand among customers in Ahmedabad. Many have been contacting us, inquiring about bookings and deliveries of the iconic Jeep Wrangler and the luxurious Jeep Grand Cherokee, and I am pleased to be able to deliver to their enthusiasm today, with the launch of our first Jeep Destination Store in this fast-growing metropolis."

In addition, Jeep is working offer a relaxed ownership experience to its customers and is offering a 2 year, unlimited mileage manufacturer's warranty as standard on both SUVs. The warranty comes with international coverage and is transferrable to the second owner. That said, the company is planning a compact SUV as well which is targeted at emerging markets like Central America and China and will be unveiled later this month. Now here's the interesting part, the upcoming Jeep C-SUV will be locally produced at the company's Ranjangaon facility, so expect prices to be significantly lower.
Jeep's next set of Destination Stores will be inaugurated later in the year starting with Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chandigarh Kochi and Bengaluru.
