- The Jeep Meridian is essentially the 3-row version of the Compass
- Jeep India has already bagged over 1200 bookings for the Meridian
- The Jeep Meridian is expected to be priced at Rs. 31 lakh to Rs. 36 lakh
Jeep India will launch its new three-row SUV, the Meridian, in the country on May 19, 2022. Based on the same platform as the company's mid-size SUV Compass, the new Jeep Meridian will take on the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, and the Skoda Kodiaq in the full-size SUV segment. Jeep India has already received over 1200 bookings for the SUV, which will be available in two variants - Limited and Limited Option but will be a diesel-only SUV. In fact, we have already driven the Jeep Meridian and told you all about it in our review. So, all that remains to be known is the price of the new 3-row SUV.

Currently, the Jeep Compass is priced in India at Rs. 18.04 lakh to Rs. 31 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Considering the company only plans to introduce the Meridian in the top-end Limited and Limited (O) trims, it will be priced above the Rs. 30 lakh mark. In fact, given it boasts 82 per cent local content, we would expect the company to launch the new Jeep Meridian at Rs. 31 lakh to Rs. 36 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
