Land Rover Gave These Guys the Best Valentine's Day Gift

Well, we get a day in the year to celebrate love, and this weekend, most of us did just that. However, for some people, nothing beats the bond they share with their car. On that note, Land Rover shared a story about this bond and how they contributed to making it the best Valentine's Day gift to four lads.

The story is about four friends who bought their love - a 1957 Series 1 Land Rover - by pooling in their student loan money. Though they spent a considerable time travelling across the countryside in this baby, the car couldn't survive despite their attempts to restore it. Then their respective adult lives took over, with which, came more responsibilities. As much as it broke their heart, they decided to put it up for sale.

Little did they know that Land Rover had different plans. It 'secretly' bought the car off them, and handed it over to its restoration team. On Valentine's day, the company released an ad, which showed the car at the places these 4 friends frequented. Finally, the advert ends with "Happy Valentine's Day lads, the keys are with Claire", Claire being the wife of one of the four blokes. Watch the video below to see how the story unfolded.
