Lewis Hamilton Wants To Act After F1 Career Ends

- Hamilton has said that he intends to be in F1 next year
- But once he is done, he wants to become an actor
- This will be inadditon to his interests in fashion, music and activism
Lewis Hamilton has said he wants to become an actor after his F1 career is over in an interview with DAZN F1. This comes after there is some speculation on his future, even though he has repeatedly stated a desire to race in 2022, with him even in the middle of contract renewal negotiations which have hit some roadblocks in the aftermath of the Monaco GP.
"I would like to act one day. I want to be the best, in everything I do, I want to be the best, to do the best I can. So, if I'm going to do a film I'll go to classes, I'll study and make sure I express the emotions like I should. I don't have the time right now, so I guess it's something I'll do when I retire" said the 36-year-old who is statistically the greatest F1 driver of all time.

Hamilton already has a diverse set of tastes. His interest in fashion has led to great collaborations with Tommy Hilfiger, he is also a part-owner in the vegan restaurant chain Neat Burger, pushing his views on veganism and environmentalism to extremes. He is also a musician and keeps on posting videos of him playing the guitar and singing on Instagram. He has also launched his Extreme E team as well where he will compete with his former Mercedes teammate, Nico Rosberg who was the last man to beat Hamilton to the F1 world championship.
In the last couple of years, Hamilton has used his stature for more diversity and been actively voiced his opinions for more diversity in the wake of the "black lives matter" movement after the death of George Floyd.

Hamilton is the most followed F1 driver and is somewhat of a fashion icon
Hamilton was already quite cued into Hollywood with him being close to the late Avengers and Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman. He used to date, Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger who is also quite active in Hollywood.
But all of this all comes after he is down with F1. And he plans to be in F1 for the foreseeable future. He is even helping Pirelli develop the new 2022 tyre which is a clear indication of his plans. "I plan to be here next year and I want to be a part of that, I want to help Pirelli," he said recently.
