Lexus LS 500h India Launch Highlights: Specifications, Price, Images

After having showcased the NX 300h in India recently, Lexus has launched the 2018 LS 500h flagship in India priced from Rs. 1.77 crore (ex-showroom, India). The new Lexus LS 500h made its first public debut at the 2017 Detroit Motor Show and just a year later, the company has introduce the model in the country. The LS 500h goes up against the likes of the S-Class, 7 Series, A8 L and the XJ L, and in fact, could get the upper hand here considering both Mercedes-Benz and Audi are planning to launch their updated flagship sedans in 2018.
The Lexus LS 500h holds the distinction of being the only hybrid in its segment while offering a more distinctive design language as well which amalgamates a coupe-like profile with that of a long-wheelbase four-door sedan. Power on the Lexus LS 500h comes from a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine combined with 2 electric motors that a produce a total output of 354 bhp. The model is comes with a multi-stage CVT automatic that sends power to the rear wheels. The Lexus LS 500h is available in three variants. - Luxury, Ultra Luxury and Distinct.
