The Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 carries over the latest MBUX infotainment system and other features from the GLS as standard.
Well! The answer lies in the details and thoughtfulness that go in making a Maybach. You see, we're not referring to its big V8 engine or fancy features like the 12.3-inch screen, MBUX infotainment system, four-zone climatronic control, 64 ambient lighting, powered operation and adjustments for the tailgate, seats, mirrors or even the highly-dependable off-road and stability packages for that matter. It goes without saying that all that come standard with the Maybach badge. So instead, we're talking about how Mercedes has used the same dimension to build up on its luxury quotient offering more comfort and space on the inside along with all the added elements and features that set it apart from the regular GLS range.
Individual Rear Seats With Extra Legroom

The wide footprint of the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 really comes is an advantage in accommodating these massive throne like individual recliners and it gets 93 mm more legroom than a regular GLS.

There are a total of 10 pressure points in the seat back and it can be activated and controlled via the MBUX rear-seat tablet in the centre armrest. It combines air suspension with adaptive ADS+ dampers and depending on the surface their behaviour automatically varies at each wheel, in both the compression and rebound stages. While driving, a sophisticated sensor system is programmed to set the dampers according to the quality of the road in a bid to ensure that cabin is at its stable best even on bumpy terrains and the jerk or undulation faced by one wheel is not transmitted to the entire axle and in-turn the cabin.
Exterior Package

It's all this flash and the silky paint treatment that go a long way in making a style statement.
Some of you may not be huge fans of the bold chrome treatment, but believe us, it's all this shine that goes a long way in making a style statement. Be it the bold chrome radiator grille with Maybach engraving at the centre, these wide conjoined chrome air curtains, all that chrome on the B-Pillar, and window line, these massive 22-inch multi spoke brushed alloy wheels or the metal work on that pop-out foot rest, they all make the Maybach stand out and differentiate itself from a regular GLS. Then of course, you get this special silky sort of paint treatment and also it's available in two-tone body colour just like its sedan sibling.
