Mitsubishi Teases the 2016 Pajero Sport; Will Launch in India Soon
Expect the car to come to India later this year during the festive season. The 2016 Pajero Sport receives the company's Dynamic Shield front fascia and now in its third generation, the car is most likely to ride on the same platform as the L200/ Triton. One look at the image and you see that the boxy appearance of the Pajero has been done away with and it looks more contemporary thanks to the rounded shape, but has that taken a toll on the rugged appearance of the car? Well, we have to see it in the flesh to answer that.
What we can see though is that the Pajero Sport gets daytime running LEDs, which is becoming a fashion statement now but what about the engines? Well, it will depend on the market it will be launched in. Mitsubishi has options between the 2.5-litre turbodiesel, 2.4-litre turbodiesel and the 2.4-liter petrol engine.
When launched, the Pajero Sport will go up against the likes of the Chevrolet Trailblazer, Toyota Fortuner and the Ford Endeavour. The car will be revealed in Bangkok on August 1 and we'll have more details on the car then. Stay tuned!
