MV Agusta Dragster 800 RC Shining Gold Revealed

- The motorcycle gets a one-off golden colour treatment
- It gets the same 798 cc in-line 3 motor as the regular Dragster 800 RC
- It has a top speed of 245 kmph
MV Agusta is more of a niche manufacturer with a lovely motorcycle portfolio. One of the models in the company's repertoire is the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RC. In typical MC Agusta fashion, it is a stunner to look at and has mental performance too. And if you are an MV Agusta owner and a nice one at that, MV Agusta will entertain special requests too. One customer requested for a special model of the Dragster 800 RC and MV Agusta heeded the call. The company took the Dragster 800 RC and made it even more stunning by draping it in mirror silvering and detail finish.

The golden effect is further accentuated by the use the Ergal and carbon fibre customisation. The Dragster 800 RC also gets an SC Project Reparto Corse exhaust along with a special X-lite X-803 ultra carbon helmet which has been further customised with a golden livery. The project is a one-off model and was done on special request. The MV Agusta Dragster 800 RC gets a mad 798 cc in-line 3 motor which makes 140 bhp at 12,500 rpm and peak torque of 87 Nm at 10,100 rpm and with a weight of just 160 kg, the motorcycle has an insane power-to-weight ratio. The motorcycle has a top speed of 245 kmph.

The next big global launch from MV Agusta will be the Superveloce 800 which will go into production next year. The Superveloce is based on the F3 and is a tribute to company's glory years in the 1970s when they were big players in the Moto GP. It will have the same 798 cc, 3-cylinder engine which will pump out close to 148 bhp and 88 Nm and will be paired to a 6-speed gearbox. However, folks at MV Agusta say that the engine will be completely re-mapped and will have a torquier mid-range with a lot more to play with at the top end.
