MV Agusta Introduces First RVS Limited Edition Model

- MV Agusta RVS #1 based on Dragster 800
- RVS #1 boasts of 150 bhp power, 160 kg weight
- Bespoke, limited edition production
MV Agusta has introduced its first creation from the new "Reparto Veicoli Speciali" or "RVS" program with the Italian motorcycle brand's first creation from its special vehicle development unit. MV Agusta had recently teased the RVS program which will make limited edition custom bikes based on production MV Agusta models. The new motorcycle is a very unique looking concept developed on the MV Agusta Dragster 800, and is hand built and features the most powerful three-cylinder engine with 150 bhp on tap.

MV Agusta RVS #1
The MV Agusta RVS #1, as it's called, has been created by MV Agusta with CRC (Castiglioni Research Centre), a new division dedicated to special bikes, completely hand-assembled. The RVS #1 looks stunning, and uses lightweight materials such as carbon fibre and titanium which has resulted in a lightweight bike weighing 160 kg. The engine is the same 798 cc, three-cylinder mill that powers the Brutale 800, but the RVS #1 makes more power and boasts of better power-to-weight ratio, as well as new specific engine ride modes to offer an "exclusive" riding experience.
The chassis has been enhanced with new aviation grade aluminium lateral plates, and a custom racetrack-only exhaust is offered in titanium, designed together with SC-Project. CRC designed components include the dashboard support, footpeg units, engine protectors and racing handlebars with specific clutch and braking systems incorporating Braking's Sunstar Batfly's brake discs.

The headlight is all-new, and uses an integrated inertial system illuminating the individual LED units. The fuel tank gets even more aggressive design lines and comes with titanium inserts. Customised machined Kineo spoke wheels get scrambler-style Pirelli MT 60 RS tyres. The RVS #1 is described as a "one man, one bike" limited edition model with bespoke design and components, suited to individual customer requirements. As of now, there's no word on pricing, but the RVS #1 is expected to be expensive, considering its limited run, and bespoke production.
