New Generation Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Bookings Begin Ahead Of Launch

Maruti Suzuki has dropped the first official image of the new generation Alto K10, ahead of its launch later this month. The all-new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 arrives in a completely new avatar with a complete design, new features and an updated powertrain. The automaker has also commenced accepting pre-bookings for the hatchback for a token amount of Rs. 11,000. The new generation Alto K10 is scheduled to go on sale on August 18, 2022. The company says that the new Alto K10 will soon arrive at Maruti Suzuki Arena showrooms across the country.

Opening order books for the all-new Alto K10, Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer (Marketing & Sales), Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, "With over 4.32 million customers, Alto is the most influential car brand in the country. We have laid special focus on offering a modern design, a spacious cabin and a technology-driven, user-friendly interior interface to cater to our ever-evolving customers."
According to leaked documents, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 will draw power from the 1.0-litre K-Series petrol engine that now comes with start/stop technology. The motor will be paired with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT unit. A CNG version could be on offer at a later date. The car is bigger in proportions over its predecessor and also sports a slightly bigger wheelbase. The new offering is expected to arrive in a total of 12 variants spread across the manual and AMT options.
