Early this week we told you that Nissan Terrano will soon get with an AMT version in India. Confirming the reports, the Japanese carmaker today announced the start of pre-booking for the new Terrano 6 Speed Advanced Auto Drive for an initial token amount of ₹ 25,000. The new car will be based on the top-of-the-line XVD Premium variant and will be available for pre-booking in Nissan showrooms across India. Nissan hasn't revealed the actual price but it did mention that the new Terrano AMT will be priced in the range of ₹ 13.75 lakh to 13.85 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Sales of the new car will commence later this month.
Coming back to the Terrano AMT, along with the new gearbox, the new model also comes with several other small add-on features like - electrically folding exterior rear-view mirrors with integrated turn signals, anti-pinch driver side windows, a new driver armrest, soft-touch plastics on the dashboard, and door trim. Nissan has also included a new body colour, Sandstone Brown, which will be available across variants.
