Norton V4SV Superbike Re-Launched In The UK, Priced At Rs. 41.52 Lakh

Norton Motorcycles, now owned by India's TVS Motor Company, has relaunched the V4SV superbike in the UK. The British-built superbike is now officially available for an asking price of 44,000 Pounds (around Rs. 41.52 lakh under current exchange rates). The Norton V4SV was originally announced much earlier, but the company slipped into administration in February 2020 owing to financial irregularities and illegal quality control processes with the then CEO Stuart Garner at the centre of the controversy. A few months later, TVS stepped in and acquired the storied British motorcycle brand. Norton says the new V4SV has been re-engineered over the last 18 months at the company's new facility in Solihull in the UK.

The V4SV is unlike anything on the market today, by design, but it's everything you expect in a bike built by an unapproachable Norton. The re-engineered Norton V4SV is powered by the company's in-house developed 1,200 cc liquid-cooled, 72-degree, V4 engine tuned for 185 bhp at 12,500 rpm and 125 Nm of peak torque at 9,000 rpm. The bike's frame is made out of aerospace graded aluminium, which was designed and developed at the Isle of Man TT. The V4SV is loaded on electronics and comes with a full quick shift and auto blipper system, adjustable front and rear suspension, Brembo disc brakes, a sophisticated lean-angle sensitive traction-control and three engine modes - Wet, Road and Sport.

The Norton V4SV also comes equipped with LED lighting, a keyless ignition system, 6-inch TFT display with a rear view camera functionality and a carbon fibre 15-litre fuel tank, with Kevlar reinforcement. The re-engineered V4SV is available in two colour options - Carbon and Manx Silver. Both V4SV colours feature a carbon fibre fuel tank and bodywork, a TIG-welded aluminium tube frame handcrafted and polished to a mirror finish, and a Union Jack on the tail of the motorcycle.
