Renault To Show New EZ-GO Concept Focused On Shared Mobility, At Geneva

- Renault EZ-GO concept will be showcased at Geneva Motor Show
- We expect the EZ-GO concept to get both electrific and autonomous tech
- Geneva International Motor Show will commence on March 6, 2018
French automaker Group Renault today announced its plan to showcase an all-new EZ-GO concept model at the upcoming Geneva International Motor Show 2018. The company revealed that the upcoming all-new concept vehicle will be focused on shared urban mobility and has released a teaser video that gives us a glimpse of Renault vison of share mobility service in the future. While the company hasn't confirmed this yet, we believe that the new Renault EZ-GO will offer us a taste of the top two guns of today's automotive world - electrification and autonomous technology.
Talking about the new Renault EZ-GO and shared urban mobility, the company says - "For 120-years, Renault has been passionate about making life easier for customers. In keeping with Renault's Easy Life brand promise, Renault has chosen the 2018 Geneva Motor Show to take the wraps off its brand new concept, which embodies its vision for shared urban mobility."
Now, the Renault EZ-GO's five-second teaser video shows few individuals travelling in what appears to be a capsule-like vehicle. The vehicle seems to have enough space for 4-5 individuals, which means the new EZ-GO, will possibly be the size of a minivan or an SUV. In the video, we also do not anyone driving the concept vehicle, which indicates that we could be dealing with autonomous technology here. Furthermore, judging by how automobile industry across the world is heading towards the direction of electric mobility, we are quite sure that the vehicle will use electric power.
Renault hasn't revealed any further details regarding the new shared urban mobility concept, and we expect to know more about the new Renault EZ-GO at the Geneva Motor Show, which is set to commence from March 6, 2018. Public viewing will be from March 8 to 18, 2018.
