Steelbird SA-5 DOT Launched With Dual Certification, Priced At Rs. 3,899

Steelbird Hi-Tech India Limited has launched the new SA-5 DOT full-face helmet with dual certification. The new Steelbird SA-5 DOT is priced at Rs. 3,899 and complies with DOT DOT (FMVSS No. 218) required to meet the safety standards set by the US Department of Transportation. It also meets BIS (IS 4151:2015), the compliance norms set by the Indian government. Steelbird says the new helmet uses a high impact PC-ABS blend material used for the shell to meet DOT standards.

The Steelbird SA-5 DOT helmet is available in 3 sizes - M, L and XL
The SA-5 DOT gets multiple air vents and polycarbonate (PC) anti-scratch coated visor with an anti-fog shield. The helmet also comes with a wind to reduce air friction when riding at high speeds. Steelbird says its new helmet has been designed for long rides and comes with reflective material at the back for better visibility on the road. Other features include high-density pad EPS, double D-ring fastener and visor locking mechanism.

Speaking on the launch, Rajeev Kapur, Managing Director, Steelbird helmets, said, "SA-5 DOT has left no stone unturned to get noticed by the riders. From dual certification to unique safety, fashion elements and perfect product price balance, it is sure to spill enthusiasm in the market. Also, these helmets are extremely light on the pocket."
The Steelbird SA-5 DOT can be purchased in Medium (580 mm), Large (600 mm) and Extra Large (620 mm) sizes. The helmets are made in India and available at stores across the country.
