Sir Ralf Speth Admitted As Fellow Of The Royal Society

- Speth was elected as a Fellow of The Royal Society in 2020
- Admission ceremony took place on June 22, 2022 following pandemic-related delays
- Prior to his role at TVS, Speth was the CEO of Jaguar Land Rover for 11 years
Sir Ralf Speth, Chairman, TVS Motor Company has been admitted as a Fellow of The Royal Society in London. Speth was elected as a Fellow of The Royal Society back in 2020 though he was only admitted to the society in a ceremony that took place on June 22, 2022 owing delays due to pandemic restrictions. At the time of his election, Ralf Speth was the CEO of Jaguar Land Rover, a role from which he stepped down in September 2020 before joining TVS as a director in 2021 and taking over as chairman earlier this year.
Speth’s was elected to The Royal Society in London for his advocacy for UK research and development and his commitment to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) education. The society is one of the world’s oldest scientific academies in continuous existence having been founded in 1660 with Fellows including Nobel Laureates, industry leaders and leaders in science policy.

Prior to his appointment to the TVS Motor Company, Ralf Speth spent a little more than a decade as the CEO of Jaguar Land Rover. He has been credited with having changed the fortunes of the brand globally taking it from a niche manufacturer to current role as a notable luxury vehicle manufacturer in global markets.
