- It won the Viewers' Choice Motorcycle of the year at 2023 C&B Awards
- It also won the Modern Classic Motorcycle of the year at 2023 C&B Awards
The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is a winner in our books already! After all, it was adjudged the Modern Classic motorcycle of the year and also won the Viewers’ Choice motorcycle of the year at the 2023 car&bike awards. The Hunter 350 is the most affordable model from Royal Enfield’s stables and has done quite well in the market and serves as a solid point of entry into the Royal Enfield family. Since its launch in August 2022, it took the Hunter 350 just six months to reach the magical figure of one lakh unit sales, and the numbers continue to grow. It joins the RE Scram 411 in our long term garage at car&bike.

With origins in Royal Enfield’s heritage and legacy, the Hunter 350 gets the underpinnings and features of contemporary engineering. The 349 cc J-Series engine on the Hunter 350 is the same as the ones on the Classic 350 and the Meteor 350. It makes 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox.

With close to 600+ kilometres already done, the Hunter 350 shines as an urban runabout, thriving in the chaos that is the traffic of Delhi, which currently seems to be at its absolute worst! It slices through traffic easily, changes direction on a dime and offers that rush of torque when you accelerate from standstill at a red light. Some of the niggles that we faced is the hard clutch action and vibrations from the engine at higher speeds.
It impressed us when we reviewed the motorcycle last year and now that we have it in our garage, we look forward to put loads of happy kilometres on the saddle.
