It isn’t perfect. The naturally aspirated engine is modest, and the cabin materials are in harmony with its price. Nevertheless, according to Kingshuk Dutta, it is a good-looking car that has only been made better and is of great value for money. That sums up the Kiger well.

  • The engine, though refined, is not the peppiest in the segment
  • Gear changes can be a little cumbersome because of the long travel of the clutch

Verdict

M&M has facelifted its smallest offering, the KUV 100 and given it as many as 40 changes overall. The KUV 100 NXT is an improvement on the car for sure. But it is still far from being the segment best. It's quirky and does attract with its SUV appeal. Mahindra should see some renewed success with the facelifted car - though should start to think about better connectivity interfaces like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto.
