2014 Volvo S80 facelift to be launched on March 19th

Volvo India, the fully-owned subsidiary of the Swedish Automaker Volvo, will launch the updated S80 at Terminal 3, Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi on March 19th. The day will also mark the launch of first ever Volvo lounge at Terminal 3. Volvo has already put the new XC60 and S60 on display at the airport after singing the deal to open the lounge.
With quite a few cosmetic changes and more equipments, the refreshed S80 looks a more feature-rich product now. On the exterior, the facelifted S80 has new bumpers, rectangular daytime running lights and round shaped tail-lights, which give the car a more contemporary look . The car also gets active high-beam control, heated windscreen and steering wheel.
Inside the cabin, there are no changes expected except new leather seats. Since, it's just a mid-life facelift version of the car, there will be no mechanical changes made to the car. It will continue to source its power from the existing 2.0-litre, in-line, twin-turbo diesel unit. This engine produces a maximum power output of 163bhp at 3500rpm, along with 400Nm of peak torque.
