2015 Honda CR-V Unveiled; India Launch By Mid 2015

Honda, the Japanese car maker, will launch the updated CR-V facelift in the Indian car market in 2015. The company has now unveiled the 2015 model of the car, which was showcased at the 2014 Paris Motor Show as a concept. Since the vehicle is sold in the Indian market as well, it will surely come here.
The facelifted Honda CR-V gets new front fascia with newly styled front grille and head-lamps. It also gets new bumpers, LED tail-lights, skid guards and new alloy wheels. The company has also upgraded the interiors to give it a refreshing appeal. Of all the changes made to the interiors, the most important one is the new infotainment system with 7-inch touchscreen that allows users to pair their smartphones via Bluetooth.
The touchscreen also work as a screen for a rear-view camera. It also features optional satellite navigation, internet radio and display for fuel efficiency and journey time. The Euro-spec model also gets Mirror Link; however, this feature is unlikely to make its way to the Indian market. The dashboard looks premium, thanks to chrome treatment given to it. There is a sliding arm rest on offer between the front seats.
Alongside the existing 2.0-litre i-VTEC petrol unit, the 2015 CR-V is likely to get a new diesel motor as well in India. Powering the oil burner will be a 1.6-lire i-DTEC unit that is available in two states of tunes - 158bhp and 118bhp. The India-bound model might get the latter one paired to a 9-speed automatic transmission.
