- The Saluto RX uses a completely new chassis, which is lighter than rivals
- The Yamaha Saluto RX uses a BS-IV compliant 110cc single-cylinder engine
- The Saluto RX brings back the iconic 'RX' moniker on a Yamaha motorcycle
Yamaha Motor India has finally taken the wraps of its mystery commuter motorcycle today and introduced the Saluto RX in the 110cc segment. The Japanese manufacturer was lacking in the mass market segment in terms of offerings and the Saluto RX is here to fill that void, while also improving the company's volumes. Here is everything you need to know about the newest motorcycle from Yamaha.

Yamaha Saluto RX Side Profile
1. The Saluto RX 110 replaces the Crux and YBR motorcycles in Yamaha's commuter lineup in the country.
2. While the Saluto nameplate was first introduced on the 125cc commuter last year, the RX suffix is traced back to the iconic two-stroke motorcycle - the Yamaha RX100 - and makes a comeback on the new commuter.

7. The commuter rides on alloy wheels that are wrapped in tube tyres, while suspension duties are performed by telescopic front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear.
8. Braking performance comes from 130mm drum brakes at the front and rear. Front disc brake is not on offer, even as an option.
