- Suzuki Hayabusa available in three new colours
Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) has announced the launch of the Suzuki Hayabusa in the latest colours of 2017. Priced at Rs 13.88 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the Hayabusa will be available in three new colours - glass sparkle black, glass sparkle black/pearl glacier white and Pearl Vigor Blue/Glass Sparkle Black.
Since March 2016, the Hayabusa has been imported as CKD (completely knocked down) kits and assembled at Suzuki's factory in Gurgaon. And the introduction of the CKD version has resulted in sales growing by 100 per cent for the Hayabusa.

The locally-assembled Hayabusa has helped Suzuki India slash prices of the superbike by almost Rs 2.5 lakh over the fully imported model. Demand for the Hayabusa has picked up with a waiting period and SMIPL is working to reduce the delivery time of the bikes.

The Suzuki Hayabusa is powered by a 1340cc, in-line four engine making 194bhp and develops 154Nm of torque. Still one of the fastest production bikes around, the Hayabusa is capable of hitting a top speed of 299kmph.
