Valley of Flowers National Park
It is situated in Uttarakhand and a well-known world heritage biosphere reserve. It is home to almost 498 rare species of wildflowers, and it is situated at an altitude of 3658 meters. It is at the backdrop of Nanda Devi where one can witness the diversity of beautiful floras that create the best of sight and help attract nature enthusiasts. However, July to September is the best time to travel to this place.
Here, one can see a colorful celebration in nature with options like Blue Himalayan poppy, daisies, marigold, brahmakamal, rhododendron, Himalayan maple, primulas and others. It is a real treat to your eyes, and one can see animals like brown bears, Asiatic black bears, snow leopards, foxes, musk deer and other birds.
If you start the trip from Delhi, it will take fourteen days to complete. It is in North Chamoli where you can drive to Govindghat via Joshimath and Rishikesh. From there, it is a trek of 7.5 kilometres that would take you to the valley of flowers. Here, Nanda Devi and Hemkund Gurudwara are famous tourist attractions that you should not miss. So, it would complete your visit to the national park and have some of the best experiences in life.

Yumthang Valley

The other name of this valley is Sikkim valley which is no less than a paradise for flower lovers, and it has exotic varieties of flowers in the place. The river, yaks, flower landscape, hot springs are the best, which is situated at 3596 meters level. It has Himalayan mountains on all its sides and thus, offers an excellent view. Louseworts, Cinquefoils, Poppies, Primroses, and Cobra-lilies are famous flower varieties in this place to enjoy.
Munnar Valley
It has green meadows surrounded by lavender flowers, and the place is commonly known as Neelakurinji. It makes the place a honeymoon paradise and is covered by the Nilgiri range on all its sides. From here, the exotic routes of Madurai and Cochin are worth visiting and enjoying the scenic beauty there. December to February is the best time to explore its beauty.
Dzokou Valley

This valley is surrounded by mighty Japfu hills and is located on Nagaland-Manipur interstate border. It is mainly famous for the Dzukou lily flowers, which are situated at the height of 2452 meters. The best time is during the summer to travel. The blooming season is the best to enjoy the place's scenic beauty, and it is mainly during the first weeks in Dzukou valley. One should not miss this hidden gem of northeast India, which offers mesmerizing scenic beauty.
This valley is in Kohima, which is just 24 kilometres from the crowd, and people visit this beautiful valley for camping and trekking purposes. When you reach the place via the Dimapur airport, it will take 3 hours to reach the destination by Kohima Road. A short trip of 45 minutes will take you to Viswema village, and another trek of 4 to 5 hours will take one to Dzukou valley.
If you wish to explore the cultural heritage of the place, some of the well-known places are Naga Heritage Village, Khonoma Village, Kisama Heritage Village, Kohima war cemetery, Intanki wildlife sanctuary, and catholic cathedral that is some of the nearby places. In addition, the Japfu peak is at a distance of 12.9 kilometers, and one can visit Naga Bazar for exploring the market for shopping.
Kaas Plateau

It is known as Kaas Pathar, which is situated 25 kilometers to the west of Satara city in Maharashtra. It is known as the Kaasa flower that is common in this place. In this area, there are other species like orchids, Indian arrowroot, dipcadi, Y-tura, toothbrush orchids and tropical sundew, and other 850 rare options are grown here. In addition, birds, reptiles, amphibians, mammals are also found in this plateau area.
If you want to enjoy the best view, September to early October is the time to do it, and rare flowers are sure to bloom during the first two to three weeks. It is an excellent view at that time, and it would be worth enjoying amidst such a range of flora and fauna. It helps capture the pink shades and other flowers of this place.
The plateau is a perfect weekend gateway which is a three-hour driving distance from Pune via NH4, and it takes a total of 136 kilometres. Here, you can visit Thoseghar and Vajrai waterfalls close to the lake and famous attractions.
