Audi S6 And Audi S7 Receive Cosmetic Updates With New Design Edition

- Audi USA announced a new Design Edition for the 2023 Audi S6 and Audi S7.

Audi USA announced a new Design Edition for the 2023 Audi S6 and Audi S7, introducing exclusive Arrow Gray body color and Liquid Chrome Dark exterior elements to both cars. The new Design Edition also brings 21-inch Audi Sport wheels finished in platinum gray, as well as Audi Sport interior accents, which will be offered with the Audi S6 and Audi S7 starting June 2022. Apart from the changes to the exterior and interior designs, the Design Edition will be limited to one year at an additional cost of $2,500 (approx. 1.93 lakh).

The darkened Matrix-design LED headlights are included in the Prestige trim level for S6 and S7 models.

The new Design Edition package features a high-gloss Black optic package featuring Black Audi rings and badges. In addition, a black-painted roof along with Liquid Dark Chrome accents on the front and rear bumpers are added to both the Audi A6 and the Audi S7. The darkened Matrix-design LED headlights are included in the Prestige trim level for S6 and S7 models. There are also Brilliant and Mythos Black Metallic, Daytona Gray Pearl Effect, Firmament Blue Metallic, Florett Silver Metallic, Glacier White Metallic, Tango Red Metallic, and Ultra Blue Metallic paint schemes on offer.

Inside, the Audi S6 and the Audi S7 receive a sporty treatment to the cabin with Audi Sport design interior & red stitching.
The Singleframe grille is painted in matte black while the window surrounds are in high-gloss black. The trim on the side window surrounds and exterior mirror housings work in tandem. The rear spoiler of the S6 Design Edition features a black paint job, as well as add front and rear red-painted brake calipers. The Audi beam puddle lights showcasing the Audi “S” logo are a new addition.

Inside, the Audi S6 and the Audi S7 receive a sporty treatment to the cabin with Audi Sport design interior & red stitching. The gear selector, lower console, and knee pads are now clothed in Dinamica fabric made with sustainable polyester fibre. The Black S sport seats are covered in Valcona leather. The red contrast stitching on the center section of the seats, door armrests, knee pads, and the RS-style flat-bottom Alcantara-covered heated steering wheel are also new additions with the Design Edition. The black safety belts also feature matching red edges.

The heart of the Audi S6 and Audi S7 undergo a slight modification as it now comes equipped with an electrically powered compressor (EPC) system to its 2.9-litre, twin-turbocharged, 444 bhp, TFSI V6 engine. The new unit sharpens throttle response and reduces any noticeable turbo lag. The rest of the elements are retained from the current model.
